Does Anyone Actually Believe Only Murdoch’s Hacks Are Guilty Of Phone Tapping?

News International LondonAdam Lovejoy writes from London: As another hack from the Rupert Murdoch’s stable gets arrested by the cops, this time accused of tapping into others people’s computers, here’s a question for the lefties who are going apes..t, demanding News International’s blood: do you actually believe that other newspapers in Britain were not doing the same , i.e. tapping into people’s phones and paying off cops for information?

You don’t? Then let me ask you this then: how did hacks working outside the Murdoch’s empire discovered juicy information about politicians and celebs? Because if they are so squeaky clean and only got their facts through perfectly legal channels – I would love to know how this actually works in real life – then we can only assume that the whole of the British printed media was stealing info obtained by the News Corporation. But that would be very strange because other papers had been running their own scoops over the years and obviously got their juicy facts about all sorts of people in the public eye by all sorts of uncoventional means as well. Not to mention that all papers in all countries have their own sources in the police and, obviously, pay those sources. Otherwise they would not be able to run all those wonderful stories about crime and all sorts of misdemeanours that celebrities are so prone to committing.

It’s really pathetic to hear liberal trash taking the moral stand against the undesirable practices of the Murdoch’s ‘evil empire’ while pretending that everyone else don’t put a foot wrong. That is just plain stupid, not to mention hypocritical and unfair. The liberals seem to be taking everyone for idiots, banging on about the nasty practices of the News Corporation but falling silent the moment some leftie rag gets found out for using all sorts of dodgy methods to dig up exclusive stories.

Rupert MurdochThe pathetic Leveson inquiry into media standards that had managed to turn itself into a farce from the word go, calling on celebrities give their views on the way the press collects information, did everything possible to ignore the fact that you cannot simply select a couple of newspapers that the left doesn’t like and beat them up in public for using dishonest methods to get their info while pretending that others were all innocent of the same sins. And it was even more disgraceful for that same Leveson inquiry to close its eyes on one of the biggest scandals in the British media, the left-wing bias of the publicly funded BBC. In fact, Lord Justice Leveson should have made life hell for the BBC Director General Mark Thompson, who has had the nerve to show up at the inquiry and lecture everyone on the benefits of the freedom of the press. He, of all people, did everything possible to undermine that freedom and turn the whole concept of impartiality into a joke. The very fact that Mr Thompson and stepping down this year and joining that leftie rag, the New York Times, as its CEO proves beyond any doubt what his political views are. Not to mention that the BBC has long ago stopped even bothering to hide its left-wing leanings, even though it’s basically criminal for a publicly funded broadcaster to be biased.

Get this people: hacks not only tap into other people’s phones and computers but they should actually be allowed to do this by law. Otherwise how do you expect the media to nail corrupt politicians, big businessmen and dodgy money men? That is what the media should be doing for us to treat it seriously. And to hell with celebs and their hurt feelings. They chose to be celebs, no one forces them to do it. So let these lowlifes suffer a bit.

And finally: just because left-wing loonies thinks they can use every dirty trick in the book to sink Murdoch’s empire while keeping their own even bigger evil empire, the BBC, peddling left-wing crap, they’ve got another thing coming.
